Cumberland County has no operating jail building. Start with the jailer when the physical housing jail is unknown, then contact that jail for its booking or release entry. Use the sheriff for sheriff-held arrest records, the circuit clerk for court orders, and Kentucky DOC for state-offender records.

Phone: 270-459-3157
Availability listed by the county: 24 hours a day
Use: identify the actual housing jail and ask about transport or destination records.

Columbia, KY 42728
Phone: 270-384-5701
Use: current custody and direct release or transfer questions when Adair housed the Cumberland detainee.

- For a recent county event, use 24-Hour Releases; Cumberland has no verified online release feed.

- For a sentenced federal inmate use the Bureau of Prisons locator; for immigration custody use the ICE locator. Those systems are separate from Cumberland and Kentucky DOC records.
